The official Steam feature list does not list Steam Workshop or Mod support. The Steam Guides index has a “Modding or Configuration” category, but a category is not the same as an official Mod API. Community questions about Workshop support are player requests.
Current support status
The official Guides index contains a category that can be useful for configuration notes, but it does not show a download, installation guide, API, or supported mod loader. This page is therefore a support-status reference rather than a download page.
This is a status page rather than a download page. Do not add DLLs, executables, save files, or third-party installers from unknown sources. If an official Workshop launch or mod announcement appears later, link to the official Steam or Discord announcement and record the supported build.
Modding versus configuration
Steam settings, Steam Input mappings, graphics configuration, and true game mods are different things. A configuration change may affect how the client launches or how a controller maps inputs, but it does not prove that the game exposes a modding interface. Likewise, a community guide category does not prove that a file is safe or supported.
The supplied sources do not provide a configuration-file path, supported command line, save-edit format, or way to change repair devices. Do not publish installation steps without an official or stable community source.
What the Community hub can tell us
The Steam Community hub is useful for discovering whether players are asking for Workshop support or sharing configuration observations. It is not a substitute for an official compatibility promise. The supplied discussion list shows interest in Workshop support, but no official commitment is recorded in the research.
Use the official Discord as another place to check future announcements, while keeping a clear label between an administrator statement, a player suggestion, and a player-made file. Do not call a player-made experiment an official mod.
Future page requirements
If official support is announced, a useful mod page should identify the supported game version, source, install location, backup method, enable/disable behavior, conflicts, and uninstall process. It should also separate Workshop items from local configuration and Steam Input.
